    What is vertical communication?
    Ans. Vertical communication is the communication where information flows within the top level of the organizational structure and the bottom level of the organizational structure.

    What is downward communication?
    Ans. Downward communication is the communication where information flows from the top level of the organizational structure of the bottom level of the organizational structure.

    What is upward communication?
    Ans. Upward communication is the communication where information flows from the bottom of the organizational structure from the top of the organizational structure.

    What is horizontal or lateral communication?
    Ans. Horizontal communication is the communication where information flows among the similar or same level statuses of people in the organizational structure.

    Define mass communication.
    Ans. Mass communication is a process of transmitting information thoughts, or opinions through specific media to a large number of heterogeneous audiences.

    What is external communication?
    Ans. External communication is the process of exchanging information with the people of various external or outside parties of the organization.

    What is personal communication?
    Ans. When people exchanged information related to their personal life or personal affair is known as personal communication.

    What is cross or diagonal communication?
    Ans. Diagonal or cross communication occurs when information flows between persons at different levels who have no direct reporting relationship.

    What is interpersonal communication?
    Ans. Interpersonal communication is a process of face-to-face communication between individuals where messages may be verbal or non-verbal.

    Ans. The communication which is occurred by reaching the oral sounds is called audio communication.

    What is audio-visual communication?
    Ans. When the receiver receives messages by hearing the oral sounds along with a picture, It is called audio-visual communication.

    What is oral communication?
    Ans. When the information is exchanged through oral words it is called oral communication.

    What is non-verbal communication?
    Ans. The communication which is occurred by using neither written nor oral words but other signs is called non-verbal communication.

    Ans. (i) No record (ii) No legal validity (iii) Lack of secrecy (iv) Expensive (v) Slowness etc.

    What is the appearance?
    Ans. External appearance is another symbol of non-verbal communication.
